Looking for a t-shirt worthy of your message? Might we suggest a sturdy 5.4 oz. 100% cotton t-shirt from Gildan, featuring seamless rib collar, shoulder-to-shoulder taping, double needle sleeve and bottom hem? In other words, they're built to last.

Or perhaps you prefer a Hanes heavy-weight Beefy-T? Or a baseball jersey? Visit us at our store in Hadley, Massachusetts and browse our catalog. We are able to order many styles and types of shirts, or may be able to print on shirts you provide yourself.

On request, we can store screens for up to two years, so if you are likely to re-order the same design, let us know and save future screen making charges.

Only need a few shirts? Bring us your computer file or photo and we can do same or next day photo transfers on an in-stock shirt, or bring your own (recommended: 100% cotton, white or another light color).

Custom Embroidery

Sunraise Printing and Promotional is now able to offer embroidery services on-site in our Hadley store. We can take your file or create one for you, have it professionally digitized, and embroider your shirts, jackets, caps or aprons right here, reducing shipping costs and speeding turn-around time. Looking for a more professional appearance? Customize clothing for your staff, club or sports team. Embroidery is a great option for jackets and fleece outerwear.

Photo Transfers

full color t-shirt tee shirt photo transfer Greenfield MA

For small quantities or photographic reproduction, consider a photo transfer. Since the transfer is printed directly from your computer file or scanned image, there's no need to make screens or digitize an embroidery file. Note that the cloth color will show through the photo transfer; therefore this is only recommended for white or very light colored shirts or fabrics. Since the image is heat-set (like an iron-on), 100% cotton is the best choice; synthetics such as nylon or spandex may melt or warp.

Bring your digital artwork or drawing to our Hadley store. If you bring a suitable shirt or use one of our in-stock shirts, we can make your transfer the same or next day.

Golf Caps, Baseball Caps & Other Hats

Screen Printing vs. Embroidery

The first major difference between the two processes is price. Embroidery is generally more expensive initially. The setup costs and digitizing fees are often considerably more than screen printing.

If embroidery is your choice make sure to pick a substrate (t-shirt or bag material) that is thick enough to support the stitching of the embroidery process. Screen printing is more adequately suited for lighter garments.

Screen-printing is a print process where a design or logo is transferred to the substrate by way of a screen. The printer will transfer the inks through the screen to the garment to achieve the desired result. The process involves exact pressures, specialized inks, and heat curing to result in a long lasting design.

Embroidery is done using a computerized stitching machine. A design is digitized, telling the machine when to switch colors, what kinds of stitches to use, etc. The material to be embroidered must be heavy enough to support the stitching your design requires.

Photo transfer is exactly what it sounds like. A color transfer is made from your design and heat-set onto your shirt. Photo transfers are suitable for small quantities and photographic images.

Cost Saving Tips

1. Print fewer colors as each color requires additional set-up time and materials.
2. Print in fewer locations on the t-shirt to avoid added cost from printing complexity.
3. Order light colored T-shirts as printing on dark colors may require additional steps (and costs) to keep the colors bright.
4. Order in larger quantities whenever possible, this reduces the per piece cost.
5. Use Sunraise for the best service and prices!
